A Charleston Legacy
Three Generations,
One Family Name
Louis Garfield opened his doors on King Street in 1922 — not far from the steeples and cobblestones that define this city. Over a century later, the family name still means what it always has: honest counsel, extraordinary craft, and jewelry built to outlast a lifetime.
His son Allen joined the trade in 1967, building the business into a Lowcountry household name with locations across Charleston County. Today that legacy continues under the same roof at 1711 Savannah Highway — with the same unhurried, no-pressure approach the family has practiced for 103 years.
